Modding begins for the 08 mustang

How come your location says Texas and the plates on the Stang are New York?
It's not his car.

V6 ponies+where Ford and GM make money on the line. For every GT, SS, Z28, Formula, Bullitt, ***** AM, you see at least 7 of the V6 bretheren. People like cars that look good.

sorry bout the 3 posts of the same thing, thats when the database error was going on the other day. it wouldnt let me post and then it all showed up. its not the car, it looks just like it but my windows arent tinted yet, not dual exhaust, and i have black out taillights an mines not a gt

so uh....the first mustangs ever built were not true mustangs? really? thats amazing...
The ideals of the mustang have changed since 1964. I know the first ones came with a 6 cyl, but it was a luxury coupe back then.

i was very suprised myself on how much accelleration the v6 has and how well it grips the road. as for the exhaust. i can find anything that sound good. it either sounds like a ricer car or like a **** firecracker going off. she just wants a low humm with nothing too loud. thinking about getting the true dual gt exhaust just to add a little more sound.
The dual GT exhaust isn't going to help any. It's an OHC V6. It's going to sound like rice, with a huge resonator, and some good mufflers. Chambered mufflers are a bad idea.

o yea grill and smoked turn signals will be here monday as well. then im working on the engine.
Initially, I understood what you where doing with this car. You've completely lost me here... Why even **** with the engine? Everyone who says this car is quick, apparently doesn't know what 'quick' is. My car is a 92 model, 4-door, 3.0 V6, and a bone stock one car easily put 3+ cars on a new V6 stang from 60-100. Mine's not stock. I've raced a new V6 stang, from a dig, a 20, a 40, and a 60, and ***** it every time. Keep in mind, I drive a 92 model sedan, with a handful of mods. What it is, doesn't matter, but it IS Yamaha powered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I am not sold on the v6 mustang. I mean you can pretty much mod out any car to be quick. My ST is as fast as the v6 stang if not faster. We both ran out of road in the hills around my town and I kept up with him the whole time and even pulled away from him a couple times. And it can't turn for shit compared to my Focus ST. Mine is 151 hp stock, but have done a couple mild things from intake to exhaust and chip. So doing right around 180hp if I am lucky. Personally stock I think I could have stayed right behind him. I think I could take a stock one light to light.

I have a four door late 90's buick, that weighs in just under 4000 lbs with system and me in it, and it's only a 6 cyl. and I've beat stangs., camaros, ***** am's,wrx's, civic's, etc. I love the looks I get when people see "grandpas car" pulling lengths on them.

I'll beat your car too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
