Either or you can series two 8v golf cart batteries.

Also, you'll need a SEPARATE alternator... if you want to run this in a daily driver...

You'll want you 12v stock, and an aftermarket with an adjustable regulator for up to 18v.

^^^He could get a three post battery.I think Kinetic put one out or he could run a step down.

To the OP, since its obvious you have limited knowledge about 16v setups anyway, what is the reason you need to run a 16v setup? are you starting to compete? Unless thats the reason it would probably be in your best interest just to stick to a powerful 12v setup.
