Also, you'll need a SEPARATE alternator... if you want to run this in a daily driver...

You'll want you 12v stock, and an aftermarket with an adjustable regulator for up to 18v.

To the OP, since its obvious you have limited knowledge about 16v setups anyway, what is the reason you need to run a 16v setup? are you starting to compete? Unless thats the reason it would probably be in your best interest just to stick to a powerful 12v setup.
