MM4000 or 2 AQ2200s= big difference or no

Well i dont want to get to crazy with sub amp current draw where as Im gonna be runnning 1500+ watts of mids and high power. Granit yes like TnT Sounds said I do have the electrical to back around 7k i just want to be able to sit and play loud/ clean and for a long a pretty decent period of time without idling up.
But as of now im gonna keep my mm4000. It should push 4 L7 12s fairly hard i should think.
Upgrade amps later if you're not satisfied.

do you know his listening habits? or his electrical? i just wanted to make sure he was good.
I like to listen to Rock and Rap mainly rock when i dont have a big system. But i like it to get low and loud while still having that punchy there when i listen to disturbed and so on.

As far as electrical.

1 DC power 220 amp alt.(mla module)

1 group 34 deka intimidator (under the hood)

5 group 31 CSB's ( beast's in the trunk)

big 3 and dual leads of rockford 1/0 to the back.

Truth.
That much bass kinda kills the SQ factor IMO. But sq is different to everyone.
LOL, he had an EPICENTER so it wasn't that bad... was very adjustable.. Sub amp was Autotek 7600. NICE! 2 18" DVC Vegas on that amp was beastly back in those days... Talk about windsheild flex...

You have any hand in the design of the sundown 4500? I know you've talked about Jacob listening to some things you said you would change or do different on previous amps and he actually did it. Just curious, I'm getting 4 of them beasts.

i want to do 4 gp3000pros ( the new models) and 4 2415 olympus subs in a wall in my wifes minvan but she wont let me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif she heard a customers dual 1612 setup on 2 2610 amps and said hell no lolz.

I'm not fond of Hifonics subs.

I didn't have much to do with the SAZ-4500D no. I just advised against the spring clips, therefore the amp is delayed because they have to make a whole new heatsink and machine it for the screw holes etc for this new amp. Even if I hadn't said anything about the spring clips, as you can see from Jacob's other Sundown Audio amps, he is not fond of them and likely would have done the same thing regardless of my input. Which is a good thing. The factorys sell you those spring clips as the best thing since sliced bread, but that's probably just because it's cheap for them. All of the amp boards that use spring clips could be placed in a regular heatsink with screws and bars, but it would require extra WIDTH of the heatsinks to accomodate it, and that costs more money, and makes the amps larger, which would not allow some people to use them because of mounting issues so they are stuck with spring clip amps.... Most of them make it to right around 1 year without problems from vibration, so the companies that offer the amps don't mind, as their warranty is only 1 year or less, but Sundown's warranty is 2 years.....
