audiopipe 3000k watt amp

Well I did some looking into the audiopipes amp seem to do good numbers and pretty beefy internals. Just wondering how efficient they are and if they do rated for close to it.

rated for 3k@2ohms.

I have 4 dual 2ohm subs so I could run 2 subs per amp bridged and have 6k watts on hand if they do rated. for 670 bucks brand new amps both shipped.

My other choices is a sundown 3500 brand new for 850 shipped from sundown

RD 5750.1 used around 850 shipped

or an IA 40.1 used on the forum. anywhere from 600-800

EDIT-poll says 3amps meant for it to say 4 amps??? as in what amp out of those 4??

It's a solid amp, I run one. $345 shipped each is hard to beat too.

They are very nice amps that probably do close to rated if not rated... very small... very efficient... does not like being run at minimum impedance but does a ton at just above minimum impedance

if that audiopipe amp is 2 ohm stable,and you strap it....will it be 2 ohm stable,or 4 ohm stable?

why do you say they dont like running at min imp. At 2ohms nominal they should be fine right?? after the rise prob closer to 3ohms

also if you strap 2 amps that are 2ohm stable i think that makes it 4ohm stable when strapped

They run like a dream at 2ohm. I have used them in numerous installs with no problems. (even with abuse)

As long as you keep the voltage up, they will do rated power.

it says on the specs they are linkable so idk, also for electrical how will this hold up to 2 of them each at 2ohms only pushing around 2krms from each amp. since the subs are 800rms

My electrical

160-170idle 250max DC Power alt

big 3 in 1/0 possibly will double up the runs.

duralast gold upfront for now

4 runs of 1/0 to the back 2 ground 2 power also 2 extra frame grounds in the back

back batteries will be a stinger spv70 and 2 C&D 134AH each so 338AH for batts in the back.

Hows that gonna handle those amps?? or any of the amps listed?

Just wondering if the audiopipe 3k does rated power and not clipped or distorted signal

It does do rated power, has been tested by a few different people I've seen. For the price they simply can't be beat for the power and quality. Only think IMO close would be a Crunch GP3000D Pro, but even that is $100+ more per amp.
