p.s. I just put about a 12x12 piece of mdf in my fireplace, possibly a bad idea.

follow up - putting the mdf in my fireplace immediately caused a huge, roaring problem. I had to fill a plastic bottle with water, cap it, and throw it in the fire to have it melt and partially extinguish my SPL MDF INFERNO...

I put new ports in the box, about 2" longer, the Stroker HATED this change... so instead of going back to it I am putting an Orion H2 15 dual 2 in, which is what the box is intended for and its going in my buddies XB on about 900w. This is also the first time I'll see what that Orion HCCA2400D will really do @ 1 ohm.

Dont mind the smudging on the wood, it was a bit wet and a few drops hit the wood and smeared some.

so get this, the guy who was getting the GZ Nuke 12 to run on his Kicker KX600.1 is going to trade me the GZ and KX600.1 for my Orion HCCA10 in ported box and Orion HCCA2400d //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif woo hoo now I get to keep both the box and sub I love! There is also another KX600.1 that may or may not work, unsure yet, but its getting thrown in the deal too!

That Nuclear deserves to be cleaned up. To any oldschooler who was in the know a decade ago, it is a legend. IMO even cooler than the Stroker (which is also a sweet old piece) because fewer people knew what a GZ Nuke was than the fairly well known Stroker. New dustcap (NOS like the original if at all possible), clean the motor up. Id even consider disassembling the motor to have it rechromed, if it can by reconed. Otherwise Id polish it and clear coat it.

That's assuming the ,echanicals of the sub are still in good enough condition to put that work into it.

Just read this. I have an IPOD touch but sadly I cannot get rid of it. Was an anniversary gift from the wife and she would neuter me if I got rid of it. Wish I could though
