Pioneer Offer Good Quality?

Sorry for all the post...I promise to try and make this my last. Being away from choosing car audio for 17 years makes it tough trying to decide on a unit.

In looking at my needs/wants: CD player, MP3 player, Receiver, USB, EQ presets/customize, good looking, under $140 it seems the one that stands out is the Pioneer DEH-33HD http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-33HD.

I also like a couple Kenwoods but I would lose HD radio and customizable EQ with them (but gain CD text).

Does Pioneer offer great quality units for the price?

I like Pioneer decks. Never had any problems with the ones I've owned.

Never heard much bad about Pioneer headunits. I personally like my alpine because of the high S/N ratio

I like pioneers, only issue ive had on them consistantly is the cd not ejecting (gets "stuck" right at the opening), other than that, all of em ive boughten have sounded pretty good (I tend to buy the "higher end" ones, fwiw). Currently have a couple premier 860 mps and they so far are very very nice!(gotta love the 6.5volt preouts too!)

FWIW: also have an alpine IVA d901 screen (older high end unit) and while the s/n ration on the alpine (115db) is great, the pioneer has it easily in preout voltage, and adjustability!

I'd look into the Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X794 I just bought and installed one in a cousins car and was very impressed. Hard to beat for the price. It doesn't have HD radio, but it has a 5 band eg, Time alignment, LPF and HPF.
