Mini Extreme SPL Car

got my next setup planned already. Eitehr ima make my own driver ( which will be ****ing badass ) or ima use some other things I got lyng around here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif , have to wait to see it tho guys. sorry.

or this if you have the room
Those will not be a very good idea. He's working with a cabin that is probably 6" or so. This would probably have a peak around 1.1khz. Using a real sub to try to get high pressure in that area would be like trying to play a 15hz test tone in a vehicle.

I would love to build one of these. I have some RC cars at my house but I doubt any of them would be a decent platform.

Before DBfan187, replies to what I said earlier. Yes I understand that I just said for me to know then said I dont know. Doing to many things at once, tryna type messages fast....not thinking. ( Edited Now, for better sence )

My bad. As I said, I will let you guys know when I find out exactly.

check out this truck i have; i may just have to do a ported blowthrough with 4 of those 1" madisounds //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif

the rc truck there.... rip out that shit in the bed (it actually is a speaker, you can plug an ipod/cd player into it and it'll play the music), and do a blow through. maybe even a bandpass... 80 where are you!?

mad props!???? LOL!

More like MAD SCIENTIST (and maybe a lil bored with too much time on his hands!)

waaaahaaahaaahaaaa!!!! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I love this 'society!" heehee

omg are u serious? some amps cant play high freqs? why is it they make a class d 4 channel amps?
class d just referes to the type of power supply the amp has . D means Digital if im correct. which is also refered to as a switching powersupply

You sir, are wrong. While you are correct in that it uses a switching power supply, the D does not designate Digital, it is just because it was the 4th type of amplifier designed down the line of amplifier designs. Also, class D's are normally mono because their design does not allow the output of higher freq. very easily(if you would like me to explain why, I will). They are also more efficient, making it easier on the electrical system of the source power because subs typically take more power than something you would use a class A/B for. There are 2 and 4 channel class D's that are meant to be used for mid's and highs but they are usually designed with a new technology called I.C.E. which monitors the input, and output and provides feedback to the chip that modulates the frequency in a closed loop system. This feedback loop allows monitoring of the output signal compared to the input and the chip is able to make adjustments to reduce distortion and increase freq. response.
