Ipod noob needs help..

I'm have a little problem loading my music from my hard drive to my Ipod using itunes. The problem is that not all the music shows up on the ipod. I have 4200 plus songs in itunes that i uploaded from my hard drive bbut only around 3700 shows up.

How do I get the rest of the music on....
