i know, i was just looking @ ur worklog

not all my cuts are perfect, only working with a skil saw and jig, and im a noob, so that doesnt help, so id rather resin instead of use LN incase that ever breaks or cracks.

Ne updates? how much closer r u getting?
the last pics are as far as i am thus far.

just got 4 more nut inserts, i didnt buy enough last night.

i have the weather stripping too, to seal the port up to the box when installed.

some dude told me LN = adhesive, not a sealant
If you're referring to liquid nails, "some dude" is right... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Can it be used as a sealant..? I dont know... but it is made for bonding shit together. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

um. why not? why cant it be a sealant? it is a goop that turns really hard, right?

its called ingenuity. using things that are not directly created for said purpose, and creating new ways to apply these products. id rather use it for a sealant when dealing with wood because wood glue works better than LN when bonding wood->wood.

when i dealth with LN the crap was solid as a rock when it cured //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

LN is a great adhesive. I would personally get glue that is made for wet areas. Not to hold the box together, but put a strip of it all the way along the seems and smooth it out over them. That is if it is THAT necessary to be super air tight.

Poor Cooper:( will there be any not reversible things done? Or will it look completely normal if you were to replace the back seat?

I do the same thing, it takes way less time to 'cure' than typical silicone sealant and its easier to put on imo (with the little caulk gun).

But eventually i resin over it so it probably doesnt matter lol
