I've heard many say in suvs, to do sub up port back......couldnt ya just turn the box to try both ways?

you'll just have to test and find out.

its tough to say in my Cherokee...i think ports up are louder though.

well in my suv...sub up/port back > everything else. ive tested it all. but thats just in my testing.

Only real way to tell you is to get yourself a mic and try it out for yourself...

if you give the box a similar height and depth i dont see why you couldnt flip it and see which sounds better.

well when i did my testing i tested it drive by spl style for meca....and with sub rear/port up i lost .7 db's Vs. sub up/port back. not really an audible difference...but a good sized difference on the meter.
