sub box for a ford ranger ext. cab

looking to put some subs in my 99 ranger ext. cab and wanted to see what you guys thoughts are on what to put in. i listen to mostly rap and heavy metal and want to do a ported box with 2 10 inch jl audio subs.would like to here your input

on this idea and if anyone has a set up in there ranger like this.

Assuming that you're buying them brand new, you can find better for the money. My truck is probably similar to yours, so I know that will fit without a problem.

With two 6.5" midbass speakers in a 4th-order bandpass enclosure the Fb is much higher than the usual Fb found in a ported enclosure. However 87 is a tad bit high... even for small drivers!
