midrange advice please.

I am lookin' to replace my rear door speakers with a midrange driver.

I was thinking about either mounting them in the stock location or on the rear deck.

I'd like to power them off my monsoon amp if possible, but if not lmk.

6.5" or 8"? which midrange driver would you recommend?

uh, why do u wanna run only a midrange? you'd need something to create a bandpass signal too since you don't want to introduce frequencies that are too low or too high to the mids

well my rears are already crossed over for tweeters and a "mid" speaker. and yeah i can use an inline crossover.

my rears are blown (except for tweeters). fronts are perfect.

I think you mean midbass, not midrange.

Midrange drivers typically aren't 6.5" or 8". That's a woofer/midbass.

There are a plethra of choices. You would need to be a little more specific on exactly what you wanted, such as mounting depth, output, etc.

You could certainly rock some cheap Peerless 8" midbass for around $50-$60.

Well I am just looking for good rear fill that will fit in my stock speaker locations in the door
