IB in the stock door locations.

Am buying a cheap PG amp to power them. should be above 125w @ 2ohm.

Max price must be no more then $160+shipping.

Mounting depth MAX is 2.75"

What i'm looking for is SQL. I want something that will play stuff extremely accurately (for double kicks and such), yet get very loud as well to compliment a single 12" on 900w in a hatch.

I dont really care about high-end extention as they will probably be playing between 40hz-300hz or so.

Pretty specific, i was thinking perhaps the ID-chameleons... not sure how loud they can get, but ID from what ive heard has exceptional SQ.

Anyone else have some other suggestions? Thanks.

Just found out the cameleons are too deep. Maybe id add a 3/4" MDF ring around the stock locations so i could add some more depth....

the chameleons can get pretty loud, and have good SQ too. like you said though, they are a b1tch to install. the mounting depth is pretty deep and the magnet is wide. i'm having to use a 1" spacer for mine and it BARELY clears the rear end, and i had to cut the door panel so it wouldnt hit it in the front.

Do not base your decision off of the impedance of the driver. It is 100% possible that the 8ohm driver could be louder off of the same amp than a 4ohm driver. Impedance does not dictate output.

That said; check those links in that post of mine that Schuey2002 posted. Partsexpress has a ton of drivers, as does http://www.speakercity.com, http://www.zalytron.com, http://www.solen.ca, http://www.meniscusaudio.com, etc etc. Seas, Peerless, Vifa, Scanspeak, Dayton, etc etc....
