Dayton + CDT = happiness????

I was doing some thinking

I love the midbass the daytons I have put out but thier lack of midrange IB lead me to remove them and put back in my CDT hd 62cf's. I was thinking about doing somefiberglassing and thinking about making my own door pods with space for both speakers and wither my cdt or aura tweets.

I could try to make a very small enclosure to house the daytons and run the cdt's in a configuration very much like I have them. I have thought about kicks, but I'm 6'4" and wear a 13 shoe so that isn't happening. I have also considered tryinjg port the enclosures that the daytons could possibly be in.

Anyone have ideas or experience.

WTF??

So, you are wanting to run both the Dayton and the CDT's upfront, or were you wanting to mix the Dayton's with a different tweeter?? Sorry....just to me your post doesn't make a whole lotta sense...but maybe I'm just reading it wrong.

Sounds to me like he wants to run them both in a custom enclosure of some type. I dunno

perhaps some sort of 3way....using the cdt mid as dedicated midrange, dayton for midbass...
