i drive a chevy astro and it has two 6x9 slots in dash i want to mount my tree way comp set with 4"/1" tweeter in kick pods with 6.5 midbass in 6x9 slots how could this affect sound? any idea. it sound intresting but just need to know if its a big waste of my time?

Where at in your dash? For your midbass, even though aiming isn't extremely important, you still want the pathlengths to be relatively close to the same.
wow buddy lol. now your talking "mumbo jumb". iam going to need you to elaberate on that a little.

You want them to be close to the same distance away from you; i.e. if the speakers are, for example, on the top of the dash or on the upper part of the door, then the right side speaker will be a lot closer to you than the left side speaker. That's not a good thing.

ok well the 6x9 slots are right infront of driver and passenger on each side on top of dash as close to the window as you can get. may it be a better idea to make kick planes for 4"/1" and put the 6.5 midbass in door as close to kick panels as possible? eather way i could do both i just need to know whats best.
