Mid Speaker Enclosure

I have plenty of MDF left over from building a sub box and I am wondering if i should relocate my 6.5 coaxial kicker DS door speakers to the back by the sub. that will leave me 2 Kicker 6x9 3 ways in the front doors. I have not yet purchased an amp for these but I plan to. will i get better sound if I switch to MDF enclosures for my 6.5s?

I had the same question as you. I chose to put mine in speaker baffles which are basically the same thing and they kept blowing. I think they got hot and so they kept failing. but when i dont have them in baffles and i have my mtx 9500 in the trunk turned up, it seems to make them distort really bad. so i chose to modify my front door panels and im gonna put to 6.5 components in the front doors and use no rear fill
