Mercedes + RD Audio Build

x2 on how big the trunk looks. definitely gonna be nice install. lol- wish my 2nd box came out that clean.
yeah the trunk is nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, thanks mannn

Im at school but once I get home I will be posting pics of the new HU installed, and hopfully I get some pics of the bracing I will try to get done today.

I also will be doing working on sealing the box up better today.

Nice job, and nice equipment. Just a heads up, if you're in an accident, I wouldnt count on those batt's staying put.
Thanks for the input, I was also thinking that, but the box will be literally pushing up on the batts when I get it in so thats will help to keep them secure.

Any ideas on what else would help?

I love the box. I think you will be happy sub up/port rear if you have deadend the trunk. Should not have alot of rattle. You may drive it for a bit kinda low volume to loosen up the sub, then experiment with firing. I think you may like sub up/port forward better, but thats just me. I would keep the armrest open myself.

Yea I will break the sub in for sure, I was talking to mike about that last night and he said once the coil loosens up to a point, it will not get any looser. Especially with 5 spiders, but yea the armrest stays open at all times because I lose slight output with it closed.

As for deader, I did not do any, but I may do the trunk lid. Mercedes have quite a bit of deader stock thankfully.

Secure the frames you made to the floor somehow, then make tie-downs to go over the batteries, and secure them to the frame. Even if they wont leave their own little compartment behind the box, shit could still short and cause a fire.

Yea , **** didnt even think of fire.

I think I could do bungie cord tie downs to the wood pieces I cut, as long as I secured the wood more right?

Have you been in an accident? That's alot of force. If they were extremely tight then maybe, but I still wouldn't do it like that. I definitely wouldn't want to see a Benz burn down.
