So first off id like to say that RD audio is the shit, and so is their CS. Mike456 and Steve are helping me resolve my situation with the HW, and once sub arrives I shall be throwing it in and the install will be complete.

Equipment consists of-

(2) Red Top D34 batts

(1) 15" RD HW

(1) RD 3250.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Enclosure- 5.4 cuft, tuned to 40Hz (Pioneer~Saturn)

So now for the pics (All taken from Iphone)

Box Build-

All Pieces Cut

My ghetto work table lawl

done, test fit

Finally top piece cut out

and then sub dropped in

I know, there is no bracing in pics, but I do plan on adding some before installing. Also my enclosure building skills arent the greatest seeing that this is the (pretty much) second enclosure ive built.

Now for, the inventive (simple) idea that I came up with to hold my batts in place

Found a little wood and look what we have here

and finally got some of the positives mounted up and connected to batts

Question I have- Do I absolutely need to fuse between the positive from the first batt, to the pos of the second?

this is only the beginning, I will be posting pics of the new HU that I put in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif and also the rest of the install, let me get some feedback, this is my first serious (doing everything to my best ability) install.

probably would of been louder if you vented to the side.
Ohrly, I was told port back would be loudest.

As you can see only opening to the cabin is right where the back seat armrest is.

Why exactly do you think this?

omgz we have the same setup, but my box is alot smaller

In many tests with different configurations of sub up, sub back, port back, port side....

I (and many other people) found that if you're going to do sub up, the port should be fired to the side of the trunk. The meter doesn't lie.
