Memphis Mojo quad VC problem

I have a 15" mojo quad 1 ohm.. Had it hooked up to an autotek ss1000d (was reading 1.8 going to the amp)

I bought a new amp which is 2200@1ohm and heres where the problem started.

Had it wired to .8 (should have been 1 ohm) sounded good but it made my amp go into protect after vol 15 (vol 22 is normal)

I took the sub out and wired it to 2 ohm (1.8) redid the gains w. a MM and it sounded like it was distorting after approx 1/4 gain.

took the sub back out and one VC is not reading. I never checked every VC for resistance, just assumed they were all at 1 ohm. Anyone have suggestions on what could have happened?

UPdate. I think the tinsel lead is broken. I moved the cone around and it showed a resistance of 150ohm. I pushed the spider where the leads would go and it went down to 1. only thing that blows is that two tinsel leads are above the dual spider, and two leads are inbetween the two spiders.(this one is between the two spiders)

Instead of paying for a whole recone, can I cut the spider (because there is two spiders the VC should not shift) and repair the lead? what should I use to "glue" the spider back on with?

welp, I ripped the fuvker apart today and put some new leads on it. tough but it got done. Dont think I ****ed anything up because it has 2 2ply spiders and I only took off the top one. Ill post some pics and ill test it out tomorrow.

for about 20 minutes. it couldnt take the 1500 @ 30hz for too long. same lead popped off-looks like a recone is in need. It was just broken off too close to the coil I couldnt get good enough of a solder. I yanked and wiggled and It seemed like it would have been fine but I guess not.
