I think the tinsel lead is broken.  I moved the cone around and it showed a resistance of 150ohm. I pushed the spider where the leads would go and it went down to 1.  only thing that blows is that two tinsel leads are above the dual spider, and two leads are inbetween the two spiders.(this one is between the two spiders)Instead of paying for a whole recone, can I cut the spider (because there is two spiders the VC should not shift) and repair the lead? what should I use to "glue" the spider back on with?</blockquote>
