memphis, Alpine PDX, or JL v2 ?

The cadance looks like a good choice too, all its specs are great except for S/N which is pretty low sitting at 60. Why is that?

Is old school competition stuff better then the new stuff out there now like the PDX 1.600?

Thats the one I am leaning on purchasing, if I dont go with something else.

I dont have room in my evo for more than 1 sub lol, so what ever I buy, im sticking w/ for a very long time. I am replacing the stock 10' RF 300w RMS DVC sub that came w/ my car stock. I replaced the HU first w/ an x910BT, then replaced the door speakers w/ Polk DB's, and then replaced the stock amp w/ a PDX 4.100. I am really missing bass, so thats why I bought the W6 and need a good amp to power it, to really fill in that low end.

the pdx does sound terrible it has a 1 percent Total Harmonic Distortion, where the cadence Total Harmonic Distortion is

and i just looked on my manual and it says 100 dB call up cadence they will email you a copy of the manual

the channel seperation is 60 they must of messed up

The JL is your best bet. You get what you pay for. I cant make it more clear than that. Many people hate JL because of price, but in reality JL makes excellent quality gear. Ive owned many high end amps like Zapco, Arc, Tru etc...

The bass EQ on the JL is the best bass EQ offered on any sub amp. PERIOD.

OK, i think I have decided on the JL, figure if i ever go to sell it, ill get my money back.

My only question w/ the JL amp, is I see it says it doesnt have fuses? How does that work? I just use that fuse on the 4gauge wire I am going to run and thats it? Is that safe?

Yes you fuse the power wire.

OK i bought the JL slash V2 amplifier. So I have 12" W6v2 and I have a box that I measured with peanuts that comes out to about 1.6 cu ft. Do you think that is too big for this sub, should I find a way to fill it a little to get it down to 1.25? I know JL recomends .75 - 1.75, but I want the best bass possible, and heard 1.25 is the sweet spot, true?
