You'll be fine. 2 runs of 1/0 or more is a good idea, but with what yiou stated above, you should be good.

i think 1 d3100 should be able to handle it, ive got a d3400 and about 2kw, and my voltage drops to like 13.5v

haha actually we had 5.. 1 under the hood then 4 at the back. we can't do 2 4kW the car might not start anymore. we will be putting this on a 81 toyota starlet with a 4age engine daily driving non-wall musical.

Sounds good, it should hold voltage well.

Too much juice? Nope 4kw's are power hungry and the idea of 4 batts is great. I was going to run an RD 3250 at .5 with three Group 31's in the back and one up front. As long as you do the alternator you're talking about you should be fine. Upgrade big three

And FYI - You're going to fry a MOJO on 4k for music...thought I'd throw that out there.

i know that's why i already bought a recone kit. will the mojo 15 take 4kW daily?? we already have the 300amp alternator just waiting for memphis to build the 4kW. big three will be gauge 1/0 i believe.

yea i would do that...i ran 2 mojo 15s on a 4kw and they got warm pretty quick

nice info.. didn't know that mojo 15s Q1 can't take 4kW daily though they peak at 4k and 2k rms.. gotta tell my installer.
