Mechman alternator or Team Gp alt?

Hey guys. I'm going to be ordering a team mechman alternator or a team GP alternator within the next week or so. So far my choices are a mechman 240 amp alt for 549 shipped and a team Gp 300 amp alt for 550 shipped. My question is do I go with mechman or the higher amp team Gp for a dollar more lol. What it really comes down to is reliability. I think the mechman comes with a 2 year warranty and the Gp a 1 year warranty. Also, if there are alternatives that can be suggested before I commit then I'm open to those as well. My car is a 2005 civic lx 1.7L.

The Gp comes with a free color option as well which I do like lol.

Singer ftw. Excessive. Don't like my mechman but its not the elite line so I can't speak on those. Gp is a knock off of other companies alts that they slap powder coat on to make you think its a good deal.

My DC power does more power at idle and has a custom billet aluminum large case. Thats why I prefer DC power.

My buddy is an EA dealer and they make great alternators but he doesn't get any power unless he revels over 1.2k rpms.

yes, there not all the same.

some have better parts. and more important is the customer service.

cheap voltage regulators, stators, and rectifiers all make a big difference in quality.

customer service ruined mechman for me, i wont explain the story again. GP uses questionable business tactics and has been added to my shitlist

Why?

Mechman is a larger company, and doesn't take small issues seriously. Once they've got your money, don't expect help. I haven't had bad experiences with mechman, but I know people who have.

GP is sketchy. I wouldn't buy their "team" alts, but I would buy subs/amps from him if he under-cut the dealer prices
