MechMan alt problem again?

Ok i got my alt back from denis today. i installed it into my 08 jeep GC. Also the external voltage reg.

The volt reg is on a toggle switch, the toggle switch is on the battary cuz the jeeps computers regulate the voltage to around 13.8. If i put the Volt reg to anywire or fuse box in the car it will not change the voltage.

So i got it runing... but as the alt spins the cars lights flicker to the sound of the alt. Btw the tensioner is mover alot when it dose this. The voltage is never steady @ idle or 1.5-2k rpms

I have the ext volt reg set t0 15.3v, but it goes anywhere from 13.8-15.3v never steady.

I took it for a spin for an hour or so and rolled down my front 2 windows. Got back and the windows wont roll up. My side mirrows also dont work anymore. The back 2 windows work just fine. The dash says that my airbags went off and the battary light is on. i think its cuz i dont use the factory plug for the alt.

wtf is going on?

 
so do i get a new belt or do i have my dodge shop put a differnt tensioner in?
Your having the exact same problem I had. So you know what I did sold my Mechman alternator and bought a different one and all my problems went away. I had belt slippage to, tried about 4 different belts it never went away. I didnt think it was my tensioner either cause it was pulling the belt as tight as it can go with room to make it tighter if it had to.

i think you blew some fuses, and also maybe your external reg and your cars reg might be interferring with each other?
no i dont think so cuz @ 1 point befoe the alt whent bad the frist time i drove all day and sayed @ 15.3 and bumping with over 4k i never whent under 14.8volts and that shit was loud as ****

do you have enough back up batterys for that much power? to much stress might of caused the alt to fail!

oh... well all i know is i can clearly see my tensioner move a 1/2 inch
