2004 GTO Speaker Upgrade Question

I'm helping my friend upgrade the stock speakers in his GTO using JBL GTO627 speakers for the rear and the front with JBL 607c.

I was just wondering how the crossover should be hooked up. Should we splice the front stock signal/power wire and run that into the "IN" of the crossover or could we also use the stock tweeter signal/power wire to splice it into the crossover?

Any tips would be welcome,as we basically have the door panels taken off and need major help from here.
