I've been trying to contact Mean Green through emails and calling them and leaving messages for the past almost 5 days now and still have yet to recieve a response. All I want to know is if they make a 200 amp or higher alternator for my 2001 3.4L V6 4Runner that will be a direct bolt on replacement. From the info they give on their website here http://www.mean-green.com/products/alternator.html I really like what I see with the 1 year warranty and how it's constructed. So does anybody know if they make one that will bolt up to my 4runner? And if so, how much does it cost? Thanks.

OK well I'm having a lot of trouble finding an alternator or even getting a reply from any reputable HO alt company right now. Can anyone reccommend a brand or company or anything at all about where to get a HO alt for my 2001 4runner?

yeah i called mean green and left messages and everything cuz emailing didn't work. Still no call back. I emailed the guy from Iraggi too and still no reply. I think I'm jinxed. I will check into Ohio Generators, thanks.

wow you actually found one. I'm amazed lol. You know, quality might not be up to par with some of the top HO alternator companies, but for 240 bucks i wouldn't be taking that big of a hit if it really didnt work. and the only company I've found even close to what I'm needing is Ohio Generator at 160 amps but they're super expensive. I just might ahve to give Mr. Alternator a try!

i haven't heard good things about mr. alternator. i have used mean-green alts and they were the best i have used so far. i haven't had a problem getting a hold of them. remember last weekend was memorial weekend so they could've been on vacation

dude ur not jinxed i ran into the same problem when i was searching for an alt, finally decided on iraggi, and it took forever to get it sortta gave me the run around but its suppose to be here today, supposibly he couldnt find my alt my paperwork was there but no alt, and one day i called and he said he was going to call me back in 45 mins at tops so i waited a hour and called him back and noone answered so i called the next morning and suddenly my alt showed up and he 2 day shipped it, but most perople has had success with tranctions from him

God the horror stories of the HO alts. A book could be written about all the experiences lol. I probably should call Mean Green again, forgot that it was memorial day but that still doesnt explain why they don't email me back. And I still have no reply from Iraggi at all. Is there a better way to get a hold of him then emailing him through his ebay store?

The only reply that I ever got from emailing EA, Ohio Gen. and Mean Green was from EA. I've heard some bad things about EA, but they seem like the only ones that want to do business.

Ohio Gen can only make me a 160amp alt. If I have to settle for that I guess that's just what I'll have to go with, but I really would like something in the 200-240 range.
