I'm planning on mounting my Adire Extremis Mid woofers in the doors. They each have their own 240 watt rms amp (at 8 ohm). I have built a few rough boxes, ported and sealed, just playing around to see how they sound. It seems my best two options are to build a long, narrow, shallow sealed box (.30 ci or so) or seal up the door and deaden the inside as best I can. These little woofers seem to good to make compromises with, but which is better- undesirable shaped correct size sealed box on door or just use interior of door with window seal air leak?
