MB Quart subs?

Anyone have any experience with this brand? I have heard quite a few full ranges, and was impressed, but what about the subs?

I have a chance to pick up 2 BNIB RWE-352 15's cheap local. Never been out of the plastic wrap. They look like solid subs, MB is a reputable brand for fine SQ, so maybe these are what I am after.

They are real cheap on woofersetc and they look great to me. Only heard great comment on those. Buy these and review them as soon as they're broken in

I asked him if I can audition them.....Ya know, bring a sealed box for both of them and all...He was laughing his *** off. I really can't go wrong, $50 and a 24" pipe wrench for both BNIB.

I think I am going to grab them this afternoon, undecided on running 1 or 2 in my truck.

well try em for 50 bucks. let us know how they are. if you don't like them then sell them on craigslist. i have a mb quart amp and love it. just don't know about their subs

I doubt that I could sell them local. He has had them for almost a year now. No one around here understands SQ builds. Or brands. All these kiddies know is Memphis, RF, and Sony.

Honest to god, last years FOP car show had a guy from MS with 3 DD 3510 and people were laughing at him. They believed that Digital Designs was a "knock-off" of Digital Audio....?????

But I tell you one thing, you can take 2 used PR-12 in a particle board box and sell em for $250 fast...... These kids are stupid.

their older subs are great

look into the PWD304 (rare find tho)

Get them. Put them in 1.5cubes sealed each with rated power and the outcome will be clean,low,deep bass. These subs can get loud while sounding good. For that price, its not really something you need to think about.

They are great subs for sq and spl and mix both equally well 1.5 cubes sealed and about 10-20% more than rated power and they slam unbelievably loud and clear. they also sound very clean with more bottom end in about 2.5 cf ported @32hz at rated power.

For $50 buck you cant go wrong. I have the pwe304's and they are great subs. Very clean and will dig down. I have two sealed on an aq1200d and they want more power. I see you mentioned MS, where are you located?

Maxxsonics make them? WTF, no thanks if so. I am kinda glad I have to wait until tomorrow to see them.

So, I was wondering, would I be better off with the smooth, flat response of 1 sealed? Or the extra impact and low-end growl of 1 ported? I do like systems with a slightly exaggerated bottom end. I can power this thing very close to RMS with my little baby amp. 600 @ 1ohm.

I think I'll sell the other at the car show this summer maybe, if I place high enough in the subjective SQ category. They usually just have a few different guys rate overall SQ by ear, and average the scores to find the 1st-3rd place winners.

rockford built the premiums so I would think the reference as well. If anything go ahead and pick them up to resell on here.

As for box its all up to you really. At first I had one ported and now I have both sealed.

I had 3 MB Quart RWE254 10s in a sealed inclosure on a Brutus 1200 and it slammed and it was still very clean. i'd do it, and hell it's $50
