Got two 2000.1s coming in Monday, one for me, another for my friend. He also has a 4125 going that we are going to bridge in his car at 8 ohms each side bridged for two sets of rsd comps per door. Going to be just a lil loud lol.

Got both 2000.1s new from sonic for $406 shipped, that is $203 shipped an amp lol. 4.5KW for just over $400...... I like it. 2010 is off to a good start already lols....

Why not run them at 2 ohms stereo instead of 8 ohms bridged? You'd get the same amount of power and keep 2 channels free.

Each channel will be operating at 4 ohms this way and it will be cleaner power. He doesn't have any rear speakers to power so I would rather set all the channels up so they wear evenly before he goes active in his doors with the 4ch. Each channel will be brought down to 2 ohms then.

I don't think the P-Golds would like that much power any way lol.

It was a combination of a Bing Cashback which gave me $44 back, and I got a Paypal coupon for 20% off, up to $500........

$144 off $550........

I'd assume for reliability and longevity. Granted, most people don't keep their amps long enough to worry about that.

There really isn't a reason to ever get rid of a 4125, they're too dang cheap lol. $128 shipped haha.....

How would these MB Quart amps (ref to the 4 and 2 channel amps) compare to something like the JL 300/4, 300/2, ARC 4080.. cuz ive been looking into getting a new 2 channel and the DSC looks pretty tempting for the price. and i will be running Hybrid Clarus series comps with that amp.

Sonicelectronix lets most of there stuff go cheaper on Ebay along with free shipping. Just look at the 2000.1ds on Ebay listed at $275, shipped free.

Everything just somehow worked out in my favor. Hella good deal IMHO.....
