MB Quart Discus Sub?

Wondering who here has experience with the Discus line of subs from MB Quart (specifically the DWI run). I'm trying to find a good and cheap Dual 2-ohm solution and might be able to strike a local deal for a NIB 10". Impressions would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding performance ported vs sealed and how well it might perform with a ported box like the one in my signature.

I know Quart can be washy in quality, but know the Discus amps are a solid line...just hope the subs are, too.

Talking about this sucker. Figured someone could benefit. Just locked down a 10W6 for 120 locally, so don't need to be looking at this.

It would have been if I could have worked it out outside of ebay, but add in the 15 shipping and taxes and all that nonsense, yeah...not worth it

motor force on the moving mass, (bl^2/re)/mms, was .57xx which is pretty darn good(by comparison sundown sa 12 is ~.39), however xmax is only 5mm lol

Gotcha. Decided to take the free spending money and just get a Boston GT2125 courtesy of SonicElectronix. One more refurb available for $105 if anyone else is interested.

Something tells me the refurb will have passed through Boston's hands more recently than the new stock knowing Sonic.
