Maybe something under the hood???

In response to my earlier post...I went back and looked at my set-up under the hood. Now...I'm not real good with names of certain parts...so bare with me. The power wire running from the battery to the amp has a small cylinder looking thing (possibly a fuse) from Rockford Fosgate. The metal shape inside of the plastic cylinder definitely looks melted. I was wondering where I should pick one of these up and if it could have had something to do with my CD player shutting off.

Go to a local audio shop and ask them for a replacement AGU fuse.

I assume you didn't install this yourself, but what kind of amps do you have? If they have little fuses on them, what are the ratings?

The amp is a Power Acoustik 520 watt...when I bought it, it had a 20A fuse in it that blew almost immediately when I bridged the amp. I'm not sure if that fuse is too small or not...it was what came with it so I thought it was right...
