Maybe A Stupid Question?

avoid the amps you are looking at, you won't get what you expect. A true 1000W RMS per sub is more than enough.

Powerbass XTA is what you should be looking at. Look for an XTA 2250D on a pair of dual 4 ohm subs.

if you can't afford that

a Powerbass ASA1000.1dx on a dual 2 ohm L7 - one each

ok i think it would be more affordable for me to downgrade to 2 l5 15's which could let me spend 200.00 on a amp to push them

could i get something that would be efficient for 200.00 or do i just need to find a cheaper line sub all together?
