I have a question when hooking up a 1000 watt amp to 2 speakers is it 1000 wats to each speaker or is it 500 wats to each speaker

1000 is split between the two so 500 each. and thats if its a real 1krms. not max

Yes thinking about doing either Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D or the alpine mrx m100 and running them at 2 ohm
