The 160 would be perfect on my tweeters. No use for the 460 though.

Put the 460 on your tweeters! No guts no glory. It actually takes more power to accurately reproduce sound in higher frequencies.

Exactly, you need more power on the mids and tweets to have SQ. Higher frequencies take much more power to reproduce accurately.

true. actually it might be good to have a little headroom but I just like the 160 for its compact size. and I need to fit 3 amps and 2 subs into my trunk. one amp being my v800hc which is like 28" long.

i have that 2x35 and the 2x20 as well. great little amps that were part of my first ever store-bought system. now they just look cool in my garage collection.
