Mat vs. liquid on doors/trunk lid

I did do some searching on this, but it seems lately that more people are using liquid on the doors and trunk lid, so I'd like to know what ya'll think now about mat vs. liquid on doors and trunk lid.

I've already done the inside of the trunk and inside the outer door skin on all 4 doors in my Accord sedan with several layers of liquid.

Haven't touched the inner door skins or the trunk lid...yet...I have enough of both SS Spectrum and Damplifier Pro to work with. Good, solid stuff.

What have your experiences been with either form of deadening in these areas? Is there a good reason to go with one over the other?

liquid dosnt fall off if its properly applied, it gets in all the cracks, and it takes 1\2 the time, maybe less.

just about the same cost too (i got a gallon of spectrum for $40 - not sure what its at now)

as long as you are careful, you dont get messy - and you dont gotta worry about cutting the matt to all the right sizes\shapes and all that stupid crap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

false buddy do your research. but anyhow, i used spectrum on the lid of my trunk and it only dripped a lil off of the paintbrush, but other than that it worked great. i did use damplifier on my doors though. then i can always paint spectrum on top of it later according to Ant.
