massives audio subs vs sundown subs

I've played with the both massive and sundown. Love the massive hippos. Wasn't too crazy about the sundown components but loved the 125.4. Amps I'd probably say sundown if price isn't a factor. Subs are a toss up depending on install and speakers/pro audio deff massive

I could say the same thing about Sundown. I have never used them but aren't they known for the surrounds coming unglued? Just saying.

So that's the only thing regarding Sundown you've ever heard about?

No theres been alot more. I was just making a recent comment. Everyone is gonna have their nut huggers and their haters. I personally have never used Sundown. Would never cut them down. They make great products. Same with Massive.

What I am trying to get at is that both companies make good products. Each one has its pros and cons. But I would never say that either of these companies are better than the other. One may be more appealing than the other, but in my opinion neither is better.

We sell Massive and Sundown at our shop. There is not a single Massive product I would take over Sundown. Not a single one. Believe it or not, if you compare what you get for the same amount of money from either company, Sundown still wins. Massive Audio is honestly not all that special.

Zv4 vs hippo isnt fair in both price, quality and sound. Massive, Audioque and american bass all sorta makes the same things vs sundown which is all original this isnt fair to either company unless its SA8 vs hippo8

Massive Audio is a beast hand down i just gotten 2'12s Massive Summo 124 and they bang hard str8 up it have your whole car shaking i love em....

Subwoofers - the Massive line is a cookie cutter china line there is really not any thing that special about them over AB, Soundqubed,etc. ( not saying there bad just not a apples to apples comparison to Sundown )

Amplifiers - The N and D block amplifiers are solid budget amplifiers but nothing to really brag about compared to the higher price Korean boards that sundown uses in the SAZ/SAX line

Speakers - Massive has a lot more comprehensive line of speakers than Sundown, the CK,RK, and there pro line all work very well and are priced well

I'm not trying to down Massive I have used and sold there products in the past, they are a good company and overlooked a lot, I would recommend them as a quality line for someone to carry, but it is what it is

Never used sundown subs before but i use to have a massive audio dmx stage 2... hit my 1st 150 witha single 15

I seen a 300zx walled with 2 15 DMX stage 2 subs. Only did. Low 140, granted not saying they are bad subs. I think his enclosure played a big part on that number. I always liked the DMX subs, I like the hippo series also. Was thinking about getting a 8 and trying it out, wanted to gather some real user info before buying one tho. I own 1 sundown sub but have never used it yet so I can't really say which is better. But I think in the right hands they can both be loud.

I just got a 15in sundown X yesterday and im runnin a 1700w hifonics brutus to it and that **** is slaaaaappppppiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Have heard many massive products and they're alright but i'd go with sundown over massive all day.
