I saw they have a mini 800 watt class D mono amp on Ebay but i'm not sure if it will be as good as the AP clones were.

They where nothing special if you need 800w cheap look into the ph1600md from american bass or the small vfl hybid mono the 1880 I think

There are some refeb powerbase amps for cheap right now on eBay the monoblock 600 Watt is only 80 bucks

I'm pretty sure im getting that AB vfl hybrid. Probably after I take the family on vacation.

Going to be placing an AB VFL Hybrid 2680.1D in tomorrow in my friends truck replacing an old school Kicker ZR240@2ohms on an AB XFL 10..He has the AB VFL 150.4 on a pair of Kaapa 6.5 components(Tweets didn't take rms and blew)so he added a pair of old Audiobahn USA made 1"Tweets in pillars in place of Infinity Blown tweets,and pair of old school Kicker KS5.25 in rear doors.Big three,stock batt,stock alt(140a),and he just put a Lanzar 7000 preamp eq in last week,sony HU(don't rem. model#).Sounds very nice atm..I will let you know how the 2680.1d does tomorrow evening.All installed by him and myself in 06 chevy x-cab

Might can find a used bk1300 for cheap cheap or can always grab a bk1800 for like $170 new. Decent enough amps an can't complain bout the price?

Do u know of anyone that has REALLY clamped the new hybrid line? They look nice for the price just no honest reviews I can find so far.. They hungry?
