how are these amps. i was planning on using one on 2 15" Mojo's at 2ohm. are these amps overrated? Underrated?

Obviously has no idea of what this amp can do. Have you ever used a Massive amp, better yet, the 3000.1? You see, I have, and it's a hell of an amp for the price. Here's a link to the internals if you know what you're looking at. I just use this link as a reference to power ratings and such though.

This amp will do the 2680 watts RMS at 12 volts. 3k at 14.4, I guess. N

ot to mention it can be had for around the same price as a used Sundown 1500. Massive is built for those with a limited budget. A new Sundown costs $600. Although I have never used a Sundown amp, you do the math.

From what i hear those amps are great. A member on here owns one of those and is pushing 4 18's w/ it. pm themommyvan he can tell you about that amp..

Indeed. Decent budget amp, will do a good bit of power for the dollar -- but NOT a robust design. Don't run them under rated impedance!

I agree, it is a pretty good daily amp for 2 ohm operation. I have tested several of them as well as P1500s -- they work fine under rated circumstances.

i have 2 hear as well 1 is hooked up to 2 DD2512 in a tahoe doing a 146 legal wiredat 4ohm and it does a 149.1 legal wired @1ohm for a burp he has 2 stinger batts a 1500,1000.

@12.6v wired @1ohm it does 3017w rms real power clamped/ imp rise was up to 2.35ohm

@13.1v wired @2 ohm it does 1781w...................................../imp rise was 4.1ohm

@13.4v wired @4ohm it did 1450w...................................../imp rise was 7ohm!!

it was awesome and still is

the other is BNIB and is for sale for 450 shipped with a dealer warrenty (i canget you one under my name)

good amps for the price, no question there. They will absolutely not do anything below 2 ohms, and will go straight into protect. IMO if you're daily beating, you have no business running below 2 ohms anyways.
