I have massive audio d2400 hooked to a mtx 9544-15 dual four .amp is rated at 2 ohm 650 rms.my subs pounded hard when i first start car but lower a lil as i ride,i have 2016 nissan altima

I'm going to guess and say power compression....

because that amp is too small for the sub so the settings are probably jacked up to clipping and beyond creating a bunch of heat.

But who knows it could be something else because OP doesn't seem to know what he's doing based off his other recent threads.
