Marine Battery

Me and my dad were winterizing our boat today and when we took out the trolling motor battery it was a deep cycle battery. Its only about 80 bucks. Its an interstate deep cycle battery. Now would this battery work for car audio? I imagine it would cuz a battery is a battery. Since its deep cycle it should help out. Any opinions on this?

*probably has a higher esr* (means im not a 100% sure unless its a wet cell then im 100% sure lol) which puts a larger load on the electrical but it would work. if it is a wet cell they leak and corrode though.

Im pretty sure its not a wet cell but i can go look.....it doesn't say anything about it being a wet cell. It just says interstate marine/rv deep cycle battery. Does anyone know about this if it would be alright to use cuz if it is then its a hell of a deal.

what do you mean 2 caps... like 2 metal posts or 2 black caps that say warning? Yea then it prolly is a wet cell. But if you go into the car batteries for interstate they prolly make em.
