How you gonna put a 1k sub on a 3.5k amp and complain about soft part failure??

But I've always run an AQ3500 per sub and have never blown one. And I wouldn't b!tch about it if I did...

The soft parts hurt on term lab scores. Also ask anyone that actually knows about aq. I dont have coil rub or nothing. Ive only smelled the sub 1 time and i played 28hz at full tilt when i did... Again the motors are beast tho

that's my old set up: 4 15" HDC3's, 8 3500's @ 2ohm each for daily, .5ohm for burps

They're daily subs, not burp subs. They can put up solid numbers though. I've built 2 AQ set ups that do 160+ and they where both built to play music/demo.

I have asked this many times. However, most have zero understanding that pushing the limits of the driver far beyond the intention of the design is their fault not the company's fault.

mine is built for daily. i dont do burps i compete on music only(music average). im very content with my numbers i just know from testing i could be posting better numbers. the main reason for my recone is so i can run my amp at .5 ohm instead of 1 ohm seeing the dtr3400 is rated at .5

im only running my amp at 1 ohm. so im not pushing 3.5k to the sub. if i wanted it for daily ONLY then i wouldnt recone. but for what i want it needs to be. just for everyday use the subs a beast. not really complaining just inproving the sub
