man wtf is going on....

did you check the voltage with a dmm? and no one accidently turned up your bass boost or anything? =P
bass boost's are all on 0, i never use them

we just check with a dmm too and its putting out the voltage it supose give but the gain is a little bit under 30 percent wich worrys me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but its the same thing, the out put power is still stronger, im just worried that my amp will blow or my subs will get damage

you said you had an eq...if its external.. did maybe its gain get changed at all?
i pulled out the eq too everythings how's supose to be, i suspected the eq at first but when i tried playing the system just with the HU it was the same results.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

your amp can't magically put out extra power...either you didn't have it working at its potential before, and now it is (whether because something got fixed, or your gain settings aren't working properly), or you're just thinking its different when it really isn't. Personally I'd be happy if one day I went out and my subs were twice as loud as before and still not getting hot/etc...

Could be a voltage boost in your car.
This is a possibility, which could cause damage to your amp in the long run, so check real quick and make sure you're getting regular voltage at the power terminals on your amp.

i am definitely surprise that its louder and somewat happy but i dont want my amp to be damage due to this thats wat im mostly worried about. the voltage on the power terminals is normal too. the only thing i changed was my ground wire i made it shorter from my amp to the batts negative terminal, i forgot to mention that but i dont think that could be it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif cuz its a dramatic improvement in performance loud wise, if i want too play it at full tilt like i did before the excursion gets crazy n subs are louder

Yes that could have helped dramatically if you had a shitty connection or something before that you didn't realize...plus it'll help a little anyway. If you're amp is seeing the same voltage and its not clipping or distorting, its not going to be damaged due to putting out extra power. Especially assuming you have an inline fuse for its fuse rating...As long as its not putting out more power than your subs can handle, and its not distorting, and its not getting > 15volts from your charging system, I'd say you're fine. You most likely fixed a shitty connection.

resistance could of been building up in the wire if it was too long for its size... or x2 on above

decreasing your power flow...

with one of my old cars, when i did the big 3... replacing the ground wire to the chassias alone, made a huge difference in my subs

oh ok well i hope that might be it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif nah the subs dont distort at all the gains are set nicely, and the subs handle the power really well, my amp is getting in between 13.5 and 14 volts wich i think is normal right?

yeah hopefully is that man //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
