making your own alcohol?

ive heard of just letting some cider rot for a couple weeks but yet i hear that only has the potentcy of some wine and beer. id like to make some relativly cheap out of some cider but id like to make it around 40%-50%(80-100proof) anyone know? besides adding more alcohol maybe some yeast suger? i tried reading up on it but i couldnt find anything on it

To get the higher proofs, you have to turn to distilling which is illegal for private individuals to do in the US. However, it isn't that hard to do if you understand basic chemistry. Alcohol has a slightly higher boiling point than water, and a low volume distillation setup can be made for less than $200. However, it is dangerous if you don't know what you are doing because you are continuously working with high pressures, high temperatures. and steam. Everyone now and then you hear about some backwoods moonshiner accidently scalding or blowing himself up because he doesn't know what he is doing.

Take those, leave them in a dark place for a month or so and then drink them

haha no im not that stupid can be at times

to the one above me when your poor and want to get ****ed up mutliple times a week and takes over half the bottle to get me drunk enough to be satisfied i think its good enough for the price

after the first couple gulps you dont taste it much anymore

and everclear well i drink more than im suppose to jungle juice is so **** good

even though if i could afford it more often id get more classic 12 but at bout 20 bucks for a 750 ml that would be enough for me i dont think id have much money

i love classic 12 so **** smooth

has anyoen else tried that tatto from capt morgan yet?

You dont know his situation haha, he doesnt need a life lesson, and if he can budget in drinking some cheap booze here and there, and thats what he wants to spend his money on, he may as well.

I don't know about cider wine, but i've never had a home-made beer that tasted very good.
