Making sure electrical is up to par

Ok, so when I finally get this install underway I will be running an Atomic 5k for my sub stage, still gonna hang onto my zapco from the get go and just keep the subs down low enough for my fronts to keep up until I get new fronts and more power for them, but when I do play full tilt to show off I am gonna see if I should be fine.

I have a 225 amp HO alt

1 Kinetik 1800 up front

2 runs of 1/0 power and 2 runs of 1/0 ground

Kinetik 2400 in the trunk.

Big 3 in 1/0

Now, knowing how much current that thing is going to draw, I was thinking about either adding a second 2400 or just a 1800 or 2000 in the trunk with the 2400 to be safe, will I be fine with current electrical or should I go ahead and add the other battery?

Depends on your listening habits and how much of that 5k you'll actually be using...if pushing it pretty hard, I'd definitely get another 2400 for the back to keep voltage from dropping below battery level easily, because it WILL get past your alternator easily if drawing 450-500 amps with long extended basslines that are basically just tones.

See that's what I was thinking, but like I said, the only time I will be cranking the ***** up all the way is when I will be showing off so the actual heavy duty current draw will be during demos, plus the gains will be down significantly due to a 8V preout headunit and no need to feed those subs 5k unless I wanna fry some coil up real quick. But def putting another battery back there, one in the spare tire well, one sitting up against the wall of the trunk.
