Making final decision on sub, Need your help

ill give you an answer if you can tell me the diffrence between SPL and SQL //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
Im not sure exactly what they mean but i pretty much got that SPL means you want it to get loud and you are not worried about quality while SQL focuses on both?

exactly what is ur decision

btw, quality means ur sub has enough control over the cone to start and stop it when it needs too so it can make ur music sound good

big diff btw

u want it to be loud and still sound good right?
Yeah I guess I do want SQL the most.

Is there anywhere that sells those aq subs cheaper or is direct from their site the only place?

Let say I wanted SPL though would I be able to get something decent for under 100 bucks?

Jesus man, get the CVR. Its cheap, and with the right box, youll be happy. once it arrives, you can either put it in a sealed box for decent sound quality (ive had a sealed cvr 15 and it sounded decent). If you would rather get the most output out of it, and still have it sound alright, then port it. (ive also had a couple CVR 15s ported and they were loud and had tolerable sq).

i respectfully disagree

my cvr's sounded no where close to good in a sealed box

but it was loud

aq's are a bargain for what u get

u may be able to get cheaper with mach5's but ive never heard them

andon i think u need to give him a more detailed review

he obviously doesnt know so keep it fair and give full disclosure

btw, ur avatar looks like my weed man

Im thinking of going with the CVR for now because then I will have room to upgrade as well.

If I get the CVR now ill get practice making a box, be happy for now and then next time I want to upgrade I will be able to do it without replacing my amp.

there is no way ill upgrade past the aq sub for at least 4-5 years so for now maybe this is the best way. I dont know what to do

and yeah that would be nice andon
