i get them to cut a 1/4 to 1/2 bigger, and then u musure, if its too small. i tell them to cut it again. i went through 3 sheets of MDF once. one wasnt even square (stupid kit) and one wasnt even with in the 1/8 they garenty. sheet number 3 was OK

i do the same. its also hard to cut down a 4X8 sheat on a 2X6 table saw

That's why you use a circular saw to cut the 4x8 sheet into smaller pieces first...

Yeah, around here you basically have to stand right over the employee's shoulder while they cut. We had to get them to re-cut at least 5 times last time we went there.

I work at Lowes and do not get your wood or anything cut at lowes or home depot.
