making cuts at home depot.

When i got mine cut at home depot i just gave them a sheet of paper with the cuts i needed and they made the cuts. Just to let you know some of the cuts i got where almost half an inch of so they wont be perfect.

Panel saws arn't perfect for the best of cuts...I own one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I usually cut my boards 1/2 inch longer with it now and trim them to proper length with my table saw...another thing with the panel saw your not gonna get angle cuts for a truck style box....

I go to a cabinet shop for my cuts... they have MDF in stock, and they cut with precision machines //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
thats actually a great idea, simple one too how come I have never thought of that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif DO they charge u anything for cutting?

i do the same. its also hard to cut down a 4X8 sheat on a 2X6 table saw

Go to one of Ace Hardware's lumber stores if you have one near you. THey have areas dedicated to project cuts. The ones I got were perfect.

don't get it cut at lowes, home depot anywhere like that.. Those guys couldn't care less about your cuts. I used to do that before i got tools and table saw.. Now i love cutting my own stuff..

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/word.gif.64b12e39f936af3b4fff38a1c0bd0244.gif and home depot and lowes is hit or miss. Depends on the person working really.

the guy cutting the sheet for me usually told me 25c a cut but when i would go to the register to pay, they normally wouldn't charge for the cuts at all because most of the time no one at the register knew they even charged for cuts.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
