***Making A Custom box Have a few questions

I'm making a box for two kenwood 10inch subwoofers and was wondering should I divide the inside for each speaker or if I should just leave the box all empty inside?

I'm going for 1cu/ft per sub.

Divided within the box or not?

What are the advantages to dividing it ?

If i go all open inside what are the detriments to that ?

divide it. that way if one sub blows, u can still use the other one. if u go open, i'm not sure what exsactly it will do, but i'm sure it will sounds like *** till u fix the other one.

Makes sense. so i guess it's for insurance more than anything?..

depending on the box itself, i might be easyer to do open. but i recomend spliting it between the 2

First off the box will be stronger and less likely to flex with that added suport piece in the center. Second as stated above, if you cook a sub the other will still play in its properly sized enclosure.
