Distorting Subwoofers Someone plz help

Last couple days ive noticed my subwoofers are distorting real bad when it comes to lows... i dont know why this is.. i thought it might of been the subs so i took them back to where i got them and they gave me new ones and its still doing it...

is it possibly thats its my box.. maybe it cracked somewhere and has an airleak.. it hasnt always done this thought.. or could it be my wiring at all.. i have no idea.. i dont think its my subs thought

It could very well be that you developed a leak somwhere. When you have your subs on, take your hand and slide it around the seams and feel for leaks. Have you changed any of your settings recently?

I'm putting my money on your enclosure being tuned to 44hz. Those poor subs are probably unloading like crazy on anything low.

Havent changed any of my settings at all..

Its tuned too high, build one tuned from 30-35 htz.

Should help a whole lot.

i wish i knew how to build a box.. im sure i could do it.. but i dont even know what dimensions or anything

yea 44hz is high for playing music daily. all the fun stuff is below 40hz!
