Got a single 12" Alpine Type R D4 here, going to pushing it with a Hifonics BXI-1610D in about a week.

I'm going to be building a ported enclosure and I am in need of some pointers for the build.

What hz to tune it to? I was thinking 37hz?

I have the dimensions of 30inx14inx16in. Will these be sufficient? Too large? Too small? The only difference I can expand on is the 1ft of width could probably go to 1.5ft or so.

And which way should the port face, the sub will be facing towards the back of the trunk. Does it matter what direction it faces?

2.25cf @ 32hzSub back, port back
Simple enough, i feel so stupid now that I plugged numbers into the RE enclosure calculator and it basically tells me everything I asked haha.

Anyone want to 2nd that 2.25cubes @32hz?

Just trust me on it, I've designed and built so many Type R enclosures I can't even count them all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
